Scalp Micropigmentation

What is SMP?

Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that involves depositing tiny dots of pigment into the scalp to replicate the appearance of hair follicles. This technique creates the illusion of fuller hair and can benefit both men and women experiencing various forms of hair loss.

How SMP Works:

   •   Procedure: Trained practitioners use fine needles to apply medical-grade pigments to the upper dermal layer of the scalp. The depth, angle, and placement of each dot are carefully controlled to mimic natural hair follicles. Multiple sessions, typically two to four, are required to achieve the desired density and appearance.

   •   Customization: Pigment shades are selected to match the individual’s natural hair color and skin tone, ensuring a seamless and realistic look.

Benefits for Men and Women:

   •   Men: SMP can recreate a natural-looking hairline, camouflage scars from hair transplants or injuries, and provide the appearance of a closely shaved head.

   •   Women: SMP adds the illusion of density to thinning hair, particularly in areas where the scalp is visible through the hair. This technique is effective for women with diffuse thinning, alopecia, or those seeking to conceal scars.

SMP offers a viable solution for individuals seeking to address hair loss without surgical interventions, providing a boost in confidence and a rejuvenated appearance.
